One of the more popular comments I hear from people is that eating healthy is expensive but it doesn’t have to be!
Yes, there are so many new products hitting the market on the daily. These products can be much pricier than what we’re used to because they are made with higher quality ingredients. However, we don’t need to spend loads of money of Perfect bars (I’m guilty of this) when we can buy a jar of organic peanut butter and a bag of apples and get three-four times the amount of food for the same price!

We’re in the process of buying our first home so we’ve had to evaluate where to cut back in order to still live happy and comfortably. We started looking in the kitchen and realized just how much money we spend on healthy snacks because they are more convenient when you’re always on the go. We’ve made a list of things that we can replace these more expensive items with to save money and still get the same benefits. It’s such an eye-opening experience!
Another thing we are totally guilty of is only buying organic items when we don’t necessarily have to be doing that. The EWG just released their 2018 Dirty Dozen and Clean Fifteen list so you best believe I’ve downloaded that to my phone and will whip it out on future shopping trips! I highly suggest you do too because even if you have money flowing freely, it’s much smarter to save where you can and invest that in your future.
ALWAYS buy organic from anything on the dirty dozen list!
Anything on the clean 15 is safe to buy non-organic so you can save some monayy!
