It’s been freakin’ hot AF here recently and chilled Rosé just hasn’t been enough.
I decided it was time to get a little more creative and throw together something to relax me but also help cool me down.
These Rosé popsicles did just the trick and were SO easy to make.
Honestly, the hardest part here is finding the patience to wait for these babies to freeze up.
♥ 1/2 bottle Rosé (one of my faves is only 6.99 at Trader Joe’s. It’s actually a lot better than some of the $15-20 bottles I’ve tried)
♥ 1/2 small watermelon (make sure it’s ripe and sweet)
♥ 1-2 limes
For half of the pops, I simply cubed watermelon, placed it into the popsicle mold and then poured the Rosé in.
For the other half, I blended the rest of the watermelon with the fresh squeezed lime. I then filled about 1/4 of each mold with the juice, then poured about 1/2 of the mold with the Rosé and then topped with another 1/4 watermelon juice.
Freeze for about 3-4 hours then serve and ENJOY.
I plan on using summer water a lot in the future for different types of popsicles. I’ll definitely be mixing up my fruit choices as well as dipping them in pink sugar crystals before serving them to my friends at our supper clubs because everything is better with sprinkles.
